As we celebrate our 5th anniversary, TRIBE invites you to join our Carnival 2009 presentation “Birds of a Feather”. We will be portraying fifteen exotic birds from all over the world such as the Brazilian Macaw coming from the depths of the Amazon, to the African Lovebird. From our own beautiful twin islands we have the effervescent Hummingbird, the playful Kiskadee and graceful Scarlet Ibis and much more.

We look forward to seeing you on the road with us for yet another memorable experience.

IMPORTANT

Carnival costumes are CUSTOM-MADE ITEMS therefore please be advised that once registration is complete, there will be :

- NO exchange or switching of sections
- NO refund of deposits
- NO changing of measurements or sizes

COSTUMES WILL BE RESERVED ONLY UPON RECEIPT OF THE DOWNPAYMENT

COSTUME DISPLAY

Our costumes for Carnival 2009 are presently on display at TRIBE's Mas Camp ( 20 Rosalino St., Woodbrook).

Mas Camp Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 12noon - 6pm (Closed on Weekends & Public Holidays)

Please use discretion when parking.

TRIBE LOYALTY CARD (TLC)

As part of our customer loyalty program, persons who have registered for costume with TRIBE are eligible to apply for a TRIBE LOYALTY CARD (TLC).

TLC holders are entitled to:

Priority Registration

Special priced tickets to TRIBE Events.

Specials offers/discounts at selected TRIBE affiliates.

Invitations to exclusive events...and more.

One of Tribe’s main objectives is to continuously improve the level of quality and service presently enjoyed by our valued masqueraders. We can only achieve this by ensuring that the band is kept at a manageable size. After much deliberation the process outlined below was thought to be the most practical and equitable.

The first phase of registration is open to TRIBE LOYALTY CARD holders ONLY while the second phase of registration was open to all NEW masqueraders/non-TLC holders.

The deadline for collection of TLC's was Wednesday 2nd July 2008. Therefore, at this time we are unable to accommodate any further requests for or collection of TLC.

Please Note:

Your TLC is non-transferable
One costume registration per TLC

TLC holders must know their 4-digit TLC code AND username in order to register.

It is intended for multiple long-term use.

Please keep in a safe place.

If lost or stolen, please notify TRIBE ASAP - Replacement Fee: US$10

It has been brought to our attention that some TLC holders have been 'selling' their cards and/or use of their cards. We do not condone this practice and have taken steps to invalidate these cards.

VICTORY CELEBRATION

Congrats to our Team and a big thank you to our supporters!!

On Sunday 29th June 2008, TRIBE participated in the Victory charity event hosted by Triniscene. This novelty / sporting event saw 14 teams of Warriors battling for their various Charities. Participating teams, which included carnival bands, promoters, members of Parliament, and others, were judged on Team Concept, Team Presentation and ten events.

TRIBE placed first overall and took home the winning prize cheque of $25,000, which was donated to the Adult Literacy Tutors Association (ALTA).
